About Us
With more than a decade since its inception, Tottdance is a dance company which strives to cultivate passion for dance. Keeping our classes accessible, affordable, and enjoyable, Tottdance is for everyone who wants to dance.
Apart from honing classical technique through the Graded Examination Syllabus, we believe in building confident and compassionate characters by exposing our dancers to dance competitions, recitals, and community performances.
At every stage — fun, development, and winning — Tottdance stands by our mission: to inspire children through dance, helping them grow not only as dancers but also as individuals.

At Tottdance, we believe dance is more than just steps — it’s about nurturing joy, confidence, and resilience at every stage of a child’s growth. Our ballet classes are designed to meet children where they are, helping them explore, develop, and shine.
1. Helping Children Have Fun (Ages 3–7)
Through programs such as Tots Jr, Tots, Pre-Primary, and Primary, our youngest dancers discover ballet in a playful, encouraging environment. The focus here is not on competition or outcomes but on sparking imagination, movement, and joy. Fun activities and creative exercises form the heart of these classes, ensuring children build positive early memories of dance without feeling pressured or over-coached.
2. Helping Dancers Develop (Ages 7–16)
As children grow, our classes focus on developing the whole dancer through Grade One to Advanced Two level.
Priorities include building physical fitness across a variety of activities, strengthening motor skills, and cultivating self-esteem and self-worth. Just as importantly, these years offer rich opportunities for social development, where children learn teamwork, empathy, and mutual respect. Dance becomes not only an art form but also a tool for shaping well-rounded, confident young people.
3. Helping Dancers Win (Ages 5 and Above, Competition Team)
For dancers ready to take on greater challenges, our competition team provides a pathway to excellence. Here, priorities shift toward assembling strong teams, supporting individuals in their pursuit of personal achievement, and providing platforms for healthy competition. By organizing events and participating in competitions, we help children learn how to strive for their best, experience the thrill of performance, and embrace the lessons of both victory and perseverance.
